A medical path built on method, safety and human connection.

I am Alessandro Balzani, a medical doctor and resident in Anaesthesia, Intensive Care and Pain Medicine. I aim to keep technical rigor, attention to people and clear communication in balance.

Education and clinical path

I trained in Medicine and Surgery at Sapienza University of Rome. I am now continuing my specialist training in Anaesthesia, Intensive Care and Pain Medicine.

My thesis on chronic pain after robotic thoracic surgery strengthened my interest in continuity of care, perioperative safety and quality of life after surgery.

Professional experience

Alongside specialist training, I have worked as a freelance physician, 118 territorial emergency physician, continuity-of-care physician and instructor in professional first aid training.

These activities have trained me to work across different settings, often rapid and complex, where clarity, responsibility and coordination are essential.

Technology and documentation

I have a specific interest in web development and digital systems applied to healthcare. Technology is useful when it makes processes clearer, reduces error and improves traceability.
